In this workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal — are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.

About Abbott Elementary
Abbott Elementary follows a group of passionate, albeit occasionally quirky, teachers at an underfunded public school in Philadelphia. Led by the optimistic Janine Teagues, these educators are committed to providing their students with the best possible education, despite the numerous obstacles they face. While they may not always agree with the methods of their slightly out-of-touch principal, Ava Coleman, their shared dedication to their students unites them in their mission to make a difference, one child at a time. Abbott Elementary is a heartwarming and hilarious look at the everyday heroes shaping the future.
